Create an Alive/Not Alive bulletin board (have the children cut out pictures from magazines of things that are alive and not alive. Visit a botanical garden or arboretum. Re-pot a house plant with the children and have them view the roots, pat the dirt down, place the plant in a sunny window, and water the plant.
