One of the unique performers on the national storytelling circuit today, Angela tours to regional and national venues for musical storytelling, theatre, and education.

A 30-year veteran of engaging audiences, Angela is a consummate public speaker and visual artist. Are you seeking a presenter to engage and refresh the gathering? A one-woman band on Washboard, her orchestra includes Autoharp, Baritone Ukulele, Spoon and Bell. The daughter of a composer and an engineer, Lloyd was raised in South America listening to Carl Orff’s Music for Children, Pete Seeger, Miriam Makeba, and Mitch Miller. As a result her third language was Music.
After earning her MFA at the Florida State/Asolo Conservatory for Professional Actor Training, she was celebrated and encouraged by leaders of the children’s theatre community to tour nationally performing at museums, theatres, schools, libraries, city-wide events. She conducted short and long term residencies as a spoken word/musical teaching artist. A California Arts Council grantee, (2000-2003) Angela was the resident storyteller at The Walden School in Pasadena, CA. The school funded the position independently extending her residency through 2007.
A 2013 Recipient of the NSN Oracle Circle of Excellence Award, the award is presented to artists who are recognized nationally by their peers to be master storytellers.
