Tom Smith is an award-winning performer and songwriter, applying his old-school folk tradition to timeless stories of people’s wants, needs, struggles and triumphs. In the words of WUMB Boston folk radio host Dave Palmater, “Tom Smith writes songs that seem like they’ve always been there – a true folksinger.”
Tom grew up in rural Pennsylvania and fine-tuned his musical craft in the Cambridge/Boston area. For the last four decades he has performed both original and traditional songs for audiences large and small, young and old throughout the Northeastern US, but especially in New England.
