Bio
Brian Caselli Jordan is an teacher, songwriter and facilitator. He is co-director of the social justice music and education group City Love (www.muchcitylove.com) and a 1st/2nd grade teacher in Philadelphia. He holds an M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from Temple University and a B.S. in Italian and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Brian has worked as an educator in a wide variety of settings and capacities for 15 years, from Faculty Assistant teaching Italian 101 at the University of Wisconsin Madison to Kindergarten teacher, garden educator and everywhere in between. Brian is also a trainer with the University of Pennsylvania’s Lion’s Story (www.lionsstory.org) leading racial literacy trainings. When he is not writing silly songs about bumblebees or green beans with his students or his son, Brian can be found planting fruit trees and vegetable gardens with neighbors, doing QiGong meditation, or dreaming up songs for the next City Love album.
