Kim’s joyful melodies and hope driven lyrics have been inspiring audiences for decades. Before becoming an Elementary Music teacher, Kim performed professionally as an Indie CCM Artist around the country, appearing with notables including the Gaithers, Larnelle Harris, Eli, and Margaret Becker. She currently has two published choral pieces with Excelcia Music Publishing..
Kim teaches her students to use music as a mood lifter. Life’s difficulties may be universal but so is the language of music. Her greatest desire is to inspire hope in the hearts of her students. She is in her tenth year of teaching.
Kim has both a BM in Vocal Performance and a BM in Music Education. She is certified in Kodaly III and was the recipient of the Friends University Benjamin Mevey Teacher of Promise Award.
Kim resides in Wichita, KS with her husband Mike. They have three sons, Dillon, Keenan, and Tristan, and two grandsons, Theo and James.
