Kittyko's lively shows feature kids who are both the audience and the performers. Kittyko is known for inviting children in the audience to accompany her on everything from harps to kazoos, percussion, puppets, spoons, and more--and somehow it works beautifully! No two shows are ever the same. She is a singer/songwriter, recording artist, educator, and founder of Gentle Elemental, a project different from her other (Kittyko) performances; Gentle Elemental brings relaxing, immersive outdoor musical experiences to children in her beautiful state of North Dakota, USA. Kittyko has performed and recorded since the 1980s and has mostly focused on creating musical adventures for those in her region but is now expanding nationally due to interest in her music and work with children. She operates Kittyko Music and Education in Bismarck, North Dakota, where she teaches piano, guitar, ukulele, and percussion. She holds a master's degree in education and instructional design, and she designs her students' curriculum materials and personalized student webpages. She has composed and produced numerous recordings of children's music and instrumentals with nature sounds. Her latest CD release, "North Dakota Songs for Kids," is used in schools, on family road trips, and at home to take a fun, quirky trip to the Badlands, learn about thunderstorms, see dinosaurs in prehistoric Midwestern U.S., and more. https://kittyko.com/home
