Kate Micucci is an Emmy nominated musician, comedian, and actress. Her many TV credits include RAISING HOPE, BIG BANG THEORY, and SCRUBS (for which she wrote and performed her original songs). Her film credits include DON’T THINK TWICE and THE LITTLE HOURS. The voice of Velma on SCOOBY DOO since 2015, Kate’s VO credits also include Webby from DUCKTALES, STEVEN UNIVERSE, and UNIKITTY. Kate is also one half of the Emmy nominated musical comedy duo GARFUNKEL AND OATES, whose hour-long musical comedy special can be seen on Netflix. The duo has toured nationwide, and most recently has written original songs for season one of Netflix’s WAFFLES AND MOCHI. Kate’s other Film/TV songwriting credits include THE LEGO MOVIE 2, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and PHINEAS AND FERB THE MOVIE. Kate’s latest solo album, MY HAT, embodies the child-like joy she draws inspiration from. Produced by Grammy nominated producer Jake Sinclair and recorded entirely on tape with some of Kate’s favorite musicians, the catchy songwriting and upbeat positivity of MY HAT encapsulates the playfulness of being a kid. Currently, Kate can be seen performing her original songs with puppets during her residency at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles.
