She has been writing original music since the birth of her son Jonah. She founded the Happy Clam Band in 2013.
Soon after, she collaborated with The Long Island Children's Museum to bring to life interactive musicals such as "Happy as Clams", "The Princess Frog" and "My Butterfly".
During Covid, she and her husband and a friend, started "The Happy Lamb Band". They wrote a song each week based on the Gospel reading, creating an online Christian community to keep people praying together in a creative way.
Most recently, she wrote "The Babe of Bethlehem" a musical experience based on the characters from the Christmas story -- Mary, Joseph, the wise people, shepherds, angels and more -- as seen through a Franciscan lens. This project was created In honor of the 800th anniversary of the tradition of the Nativity play-- which was started by St. Francis of Assisi.
She continues to write songs in the hopes of connecting people to each other, nature and God.
