Bio
Rose Oyamot (she/her) is a Twin Cities Children’s Musician who is thrilled to combine her musical background with her career as a Children’s Library Specialist in Minnesota. Rose (also known as “Ms.Rose”) has the joy of connecting with libraries, educators, children and families with her original songs for children of all ages, plus her popular YouTube channel, Ukulele Storytime, a one stop site on Youtube to learn songs on ukulele for Children’s Storytimes. Through Rose's music, children and their families are encouraged to explore literacy and music, plus express their own unique voice. As a Filipino-American/Hawaiian performer, she hopes to inspire children by bringing more diversity and representation to children’s music on a wider scale.
