Makayla Malaka is a fun-loving artist whose music and lifestyle continues to be a source of inspiration and encouragement to her peers.
Over the years, she has been able to balance her music, life and academics with support from her parents.
Makayla Malaka, born June 27th 2012, started singing at the age of 6 and released her first single as a recording artist ‘Just Dance’ at the age of 7.
She went on to release her first studio album titled ‘Eight’, at the age of 8, in 2020;
her second studio album at the age of 9 in 2021; her third studio album at the age of 10 in June 2022 and her fourth studio album at the age of 11 in 2023.
Her current album “Twelve” was released on the 27th of June 2024 and consists of ten rap tracks.
In July 2024, Makayla headlined a kids & family concert which had performances from top kids talents.
One of Makayla’s biggest musical influences is the king of pop himself, ‘Michael Jackson’ and she aspires to be as big as the late pop star someday.
