Bio
Alyssa Jewell, MLIS, is a children’s musician and storytime expert, also known as La La Librarian. She creates and performs music for early childhood and is the founder of Storytime Central, a resource & planning program dedicated to supporting storytime professionals, children’s librarians, and educators. Alyssa holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science and a degree in Theatre Education, along with a K–12 teaching certification. She is the author of the professional resource book Move, Play, Learn: Interactive Storytimes with Music, Movement, and More (ALA Editions, 2019), and the upcoming singable picture book The Apple Song (F-Flat Books).
