Bio
I am an educator, musician, and performer in Washington, DC, who teaches early childhood music for DC Public Schools. In addition to children’s music performances as Mr. Rob, I also play in the drum line for the Washington Commanders. I am dedicated to bringing high-quality, engaging music to early audiences that centers on child development and learning. My performances include original songs, covers of classics, dancing, audience participation, and lots of fun! Performances are suitable for all ages, but particularly geared towards ages 0-6.
My first album “Animal Band” came out in 2024, and I recently put out my second album “Soundcheck!”, both of which are available on all streaming platforms.
Since November 2023 I have performed monthly at Right Proper Brewing in Washington, DC. Other recent performances include CityState Brewing, Lost Generation Brewing, Atlas Performing Arts Center’s Intersection Festival, Petworth Porchfest, Taste of the DMV Food & Culture Festival, Georgetown Jingle, The Parks at Walter Reed, Loudon County Lemonade Stand Summer Series, and President Lincoln’s Cottage.
You can learn more about me and my recent performances on my instagram (@mrrobmusic) or my website (mrrobmusictime.com).
