I wonder, I wonder, I wanna know
Why I didn’t join this group a long long time ago.
I’ve made such good friends, and my music has grown.
I didn’t know I didn’t have to do it alone!
We value our history, but we carry on
To emphasize the rights
And eliminate the wrongs
I will listen and learn, then sing it out loud!
Add one more strong voice
To the harmonious crowd
We sing our sweet stories, funny and true
That hold a life lesson
For me and for you
It’s a lot when we all do a little
I joined for community
to join with with others who did work like me
to teach and learn and grow and sing
I am grateful for everything
Love, love this glorious group
They are my people, my mentors, my troupe
I love that I found them, better late than never
Each one unique and all of them clever!
What a wonderful group that brings joy and hope
With lyrics to songs that help children cope
Puppets and stories that make us smile
And bring peace to our hearts, CMN is so worthwhile
Black, brown or white, we all get hurt.
But there’s a source of healing if we stay alert.
A source of patience and forgiveness too,
If we live in the love that makes us new.
CMN’s an opportunity
For friendship and community
New friends, old friends will find a way
To build a deeper trust for a brand new day.
What a bunch of friendly folks
That fill up CMN,
Who gaily say that it’s okay
To be a kid again.
What a wonderful life bringing music to kids,
And now be inspired by what others did,
and do, and of course continue to do,
bring peace to the world, love and joy too.

We have hope, yeah HOPE
For the future, yeah FUTURE
We listen, we learn, we sing and we play.
To grow, we know the music is the way!
Yeah, C-M-N!
The music of nature is in all things
And we can feel that when we sing
Keep on singing and keep on reaching out
Teaching our children the joy that music can bring
Summer breezes blow like words
We're all together flocking like birds
One or two stanzas at a time
To stamp another song down in time
This song might not end
Just like the mission of CMN
Bringing healing songs
Can maybe right the wrongs
CMN, gotta love CMN, for the people and the values and the fun and the songs!
CMN is like a big warm EMBRACE!
Whether in person or a virtual space
We learn from each other, with love and grace
We grow with each other, what a wonderful place!
In our forest's embrace, this network thrives
Where melodies intertwine like roots and hives
Branching out with voices that harmonize and play,
Nature's symphony blossoms in a magical array
I joined for connection and diversity
I gained a new inclusive family
I found songs and stories that inspire me
Now I stay to help grow this community
